SUMMARY:Organizational Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Constitution Pipeline is being promoted again. This time on a very shortened time frame [six months]\, thanks to the current federal guideline changes. Approvals could be pushed through as soon as November. \nStop the Pipeline had their first organizational meeting. The immediate focus will be on water quality. The DEC and Governor Hochul are the primary players with power in that area. \nCompressor Free Franklin (CFF) will meet again to add our experience and expertise to this fight. We all have busy schedules\, but the ramifications of a pipeline will affect this area forever. This must be a priority. We need to organize letter-writing\, phone calls\, letters to editors\, public informational meetings\, and other peaceful protest events. \nWe will use this first organizational meeting to set additional dates for planning and letter writing. \nTime is of the essence!
